Different Angles of Youth
Skull study in red chalk and graphite of a juvenile stone marten. 21,0cm x 29,7cm each. Done while preserving/ natural history museum, Leipzig.
The masticatory muscles were rudimentary formed, jaws not completely closeable (first picture, last picture), milk teeth without complete dentition (mandible drawing): the marten was still suckling. With a visible sutura and assymmetric cheekbone (1,5 mm difference – right under left; last drawing). All measurements maintained of the collection.
